Seattle asthma project helps families clean up indoor air
Article Abstract:
The Seattle-based program is helping the low-income families combat asthma by making their indoor environment healthier which has already served 350 families. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences funds the project where the main cost of the program is the salaries of the community health workers who visit families and educate them on making their homes healthier.
