Severe acute respiratory syndrome -- Singapore, 2003
Article Abstract:
A total of 201 probable cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) and 722 suspected cases of SARS occurred in Singapore as of April 30, 2003. Of the 201 probable cases, 25 died. Some of the patients were responsible for transmitting SARS to more than 20 other people, including family members and healthcare workers.

Severe acute respiratory syndrome -- Taiwan, 2003
Article Abstract:
A total of 483 cases of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) in Taiwan have occurred as of May 22, 2003. Many of the cases were contracted in a healthcare setting such as a hospital. Several healthcare facilities were closed as a result.
