Should drug companies give experimental medicine to dying patients?

Frank Burroughs believes that experimental drugs given under compassionate use programs to dying patients can provide useful research and maybe help treat the disease. Fran Visco, a breast cancer survivor, believes that most experimental drugs won't prove curative, and they divert money and resources from research.
