Losing weight is considered to be good for the mind, as it is known to prevent memory loss. Alzheimer's disease, dementia with Lewy body, vascular (multi-infarct) dementia, Parkinson's disease and severe head trauma are some of the conditions due to obesity that can impair memory and erode judgment, reasoning and judgment skills.
