A nurse has won a Nursing Times Nutrition Nursing Award for 2004 for successfully curbing the obesity rates among children. The diabetes development nurse Janet James achieved a modest reduction in the consumption of the sugar-laden fizzy drinks among her study group, which included number of overweight and obese children.
