The International Olympic Committee has taken a strong and firm stand against drug use in sports. It is trying to get rid of doping among athletes in close cooperation with the national Olympic committees, international sports federations and intergovernmental as well as nongovernmental organizations.

Twelve rights of women that were passed since 1972 and other rights that are still waiting to be passed are presented. Some of these rights include equal opportunity in education, the Equal Credit Oppurtunity Act, and women's rights to equal access to business loans and other commercial credit.
