Article Abstract:
Several people have access to dental care than ever before as a result of dental insurance and in the United States about 150 million people have some form of dental insurance. Individual dentists must gather as much information as possible to make informed decisions about whether participating with a dental insurance carrier is right for them and their practice.

Reimbursement for dental implants: Dispelling some popular myths

Several dentists do not take advantage of insurance coverage for dental implants as they are under the impression that no aspect of implant therapy is covered. A number of insurance benefits are discussed that might be available to dental patients but not readily apparent to treating dentists and their staff members.
