The causes of spinal-cord injury damage are classified in four categories. Different types of spinal cord injuries are presented and methods to manage such injury are considered.

Transanal irrigation after spinal cord injury
Article Abstract:
The management of autonomic dysreflexia and constipation due to spinal cord injury is discussed. The use of anal irrigation as a palliative treatment is suggested.
