The role of nurses in reducing the use of tobacco
Article Abstract:
Smoking is considered as a major cause of morbidity and mortality in the UK. Nurses can encourage smokers to quit smoking and can direct them on to specialist smoking cessation services, as they are the health care professionals who have the greatest amount of contact with patients.
