The use of phosphate enemas in the treatment of constipation
Article Abstract:
A literature review of evidence relating to the usage of phosphate enemas by community nurses in the treatment of constipation is reported. Phosphate enemas should be used with caution because number of risks, contradictions, and complications were reported, and hence nurses need to be aware of these contradictions.
