A dual function for CD40 agonists
Article Abstract:
Research shows that agonistic antibodies against CD40 can be used in treating chronic autoimmune inflammatory diseases. Issues include use of CD40 as a mediator against invaders and cancer cells, which provides a protective and therapeutic immunity 'in vivo.'
