Article Abstract:
There seems to be some misapprehension that primary care is a cheap option, and it is better if resources can be channeled from secondary care to the community. Many nurses are redeployed to community settings, but whatever transferable skills a nurse might possess, they are worthless if no new nursing posts are created.

Nursing needs a break from initiatives
Article Abstract:
Primary care nurses need a break from the barrage of new ideas and strategies. Many top-down policies are a complete waste of money and time and primary care nurses might be able to use their skills more effectively if given more of a free rein.
