Neovaginal mucosa after Vecchietti's laparpscopic operation for Rokitansky syndrome: Structural and ultrastructural study
Article Abstract:
Structural and ultrastructural characteristics of the mucosa of neovaginae created by Vecchietti's laparoscpic operation for Rokitansky syndrome are evaluated. Conclusions reveal that at a 12-month follow-up, the mucosa of neovaginae created by the Vecchietti technique is comparable to the normal vaginal mucosa.

Tailoring radicality in demolitive surgery for deeply infiltrating endometriosis
Article Abstract:
The outcome of standard extrafascial hysterectomy and tailored radical hysterectomy as a definitive treatment of recurrent deep endometriosis was compared. Definitive surgery for deep endometriosis should include the removal of the uterus, adnexa, and all surgically accessible deep lesions.
