Turner's syndrome
Article Abstract:
Turner's Syndrome, a disorder in females characterized by the absence of all or part of a normal second sex chromosome, leads to a constellation of physical findings that often includes congenital lymphedema, short stature, and gonadal dysgenesis. The study summarizes current knowledge and makes recommendation for care based on the medical literature on the experience with 532 live-born children and adults with karyotypically confirmed Turner's syndrome.

Nondisjunction--a view from Ringside
Article Abstract:
Chromosome nondisjunction is an improper segregation of chromosomes during meiosis that leads to chromosomally unbalanced eggs or sperm resulting in anueploidy that ultimately accounts for the main reason of fetal loss. Mapping recombination sites in normal and abnormal meioses has made it clear that altered recombination is a major contributor to nondisjunction in humans.
