Variation in microbiologic profiles among pregnant women with bacterial vaginosis
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to determine if clinical findings and sociodemographic variables among bacterial vaginosis (BV)-positive pregnant women are associated with different microbiological problems. BV positive pregnant women with Mobiluncus spp are more likely to have clue cells present on wet mount, and to be older, non-Hispanic African-American and have had more lifetime sexual partners compared to BV+ women without any Mobiluncus species.

A retrospective review of isoimmunized pregnancies managed by middle cerebral artery peak systolic velocity
Article Abstract:
A retrospective review of isoimmunized pregnancies to determine the neonatal outcomes of pregnancies that were managed by middle cerebral artery peak systolic velocity (MCA PSV) measurement is presented. Findings suggest that MCA PSV measurements may also be an indicator of the severity of fetal/neonatal involvement and may identify those infants at increased risk of complications in the neonatal period.

The effect of fetal behavioral states on middle cerebral artery peak systolic velocity
Article Abstract:
A study was done to determine whether there is a difference in the middle cerebral artery peak systolic velocity (MCA PSV) between active and resting behavioral states in healthy fetuses aged 30 to 32 weeks. It was found that healthy preterm fetuses had higher MCA PSV during the active state.
