Ultraviolet radiation can tan pale skin, but it can also burn, cause skin cancer, and damage DNA. This may lead to cell mutation. The level of solar radiation is increasing because of depletion of the protective ozone layer. Tips are offered on how to prevent harming the body from sunlight.
