Why we must help this child
Article Abstract:
UK nurses are being called upon to place pressure on the suppliers of surgical instruments to ensure the products used in the UK are not manufactured by firms using child labour. Up to 20% of the global supply of disposable surgical instruments comes from the Pakistan town of Sialkot, where up to 8,000 children are thought to be involved in the production process. The International Labour Organisation is seeking to provide rehabilitation programmes for these children, offering them the chance of an education and better way of life.

Bully for you ... or is it?
Article Abstract:
Survey results from a hospital in England showed that 44% of nurses had experienced bullying in the previous year and 50% had witnessed bullying. A bullying culture may have developed in health care due to limitless commitments and lack of priorities. Nurses should band together to fight bullies and support each other.
