The life of Teresa Heinz-Kerry, wife of the U.S. presidential candidate, Senator John Kerry, is chronicled narrating how the wonderfully resilient woman faced all the vicissitudes. She saw the death of her first husband, and had to deal with her second husband Senator Kerry's prostrate cancer but she never gave up her faith in life, and worked full-time with her husband in his campaign.

Severe fistulas have forced many women in Niger, Africa to lead a life away from society because their families have ostracized them for no fault of their own. Fistulas are usually caused due to severe complications in childbirth, leaving many women debilitated for life, but four women doctors working together are trying to make life easier for these women.
