Edward S. Lampert, the chief executive officer (CEO) of ESL Investments, was the highest-paid hedge-fund manager in 2004, becoming the first to take more than $1 billion in a single year. He became a multimillionaire in his early 20s, and by his late 20s, he co-owned the Texas Rangers baseball team with George W. Bush, the future governor of Texas and president of the US.

Robert Mankoff, cartoonist, cartoon editor of the New Yorker, and founder of the Cartoon Bank

Robert Mankoff has made a mark for himself as a cartoonist by creating images that give a humorous angle to the business world and other seats of power. Mankoff founded the Cartoon Bank, a website that sells single-panel cartoons by the New Yorker's contracted artists, as well as the reproduction rights to those cartoons.
