James Dimon, the President and chief operating officer of J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. was born on March 13, 1956. In 1998 Dimon was ousted from his position as president of the financial conglomerate Citigroup and he surprised analysts, when in 2004 he accepted a position as the head of Bank One, a floundering financial services firm in Chicago and turned it to profitability again by his brilliant strategies, which is now bought over by J.P. Morgan Chase.
