Terry Semel known as the most powerful figures in Hollywood for lucrative hit movies like Lethal Weapon (1987), Batman (1989), and the Matrix (1999) and television show Friends (1994-2004) was announced as the new chairman and CEO of Yahoo!, a popular but struggling Internet company in May 2001. Semel with his sense of leadership and marketing made major changes to bring the Yahoo! company to estimated 400 million unique users per month and almost 250 million registered users. The company also boasts most popular E-mail, instant messaging, music, Web-search, and photo-sharing services.
