Bucking head seas
Article Abstract:
Slowing down the boat is the first thing that should be done by a boat owner when the vessel encounters head seas. Bearing off the vessel should also be done so that the seas strike the boat at 15 degrees instead of head-on. Shifting weight forward is also advised to absorb the impact of the waves.
