The concept of flight conditions for scale planes states that a model plane can be built with two or more settings of neutrals, servo travels, linear or expo response. These settings can be shifted using a switch or a stick that will improve flight conditions of model planes.

Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) in radio control systems of model airplanes has advantages over traditional Pulse Width Modulation systems. PCM has a number of safety features to protect the model plane but costs significantly more due to electronics.
