Lizard amulet necklace

Article Abstract:

Delica beads can be sewn to create a lizard amulet necklace. The project makes use of peyote stitch, which is a unique way of weaving sculptural beadwork and figural forms. The stitch used the increasing/decreasing method which requires adding and/or omitting beads to form a certain shape.

Lizard amulet necklace

Article Abstract:

A lizard amulet necklace can be made out of delica beads, using the peyote stitch. Graphing the lizard's diagram for reference is more helpful, since it points out which beads should be skipped and/or added. Step by step instructions are presented.
