Techniques for preparing foam wings for servo installation and using the servo mount in the fuselage to strengthen the fuselage are presented. There are several ways of mounting servos in wings, but the friction fit is most appropriate if servo gear replacement is necessary.

Directions are outlined for building an all-composite wing spar made up of a top, bottom and shear web. The top and bottom parts are carbon laminates. The shear web should be made out of Rohacell, which is stronger than balsa wood.
