Erna Garber makes decorative glass beads through the process of lampworking. The process involves the use of glass rods that are heated by a propane flame. Garber uses the beads, which are made from Italian Moretti glass, to make necklaces, bracelets and earrings.

River of fossils

The Ohio State Park has a fossilized coral reef which features a diverse array of relics from the Devonian period. The park also has a museum dedicated to the reef and the facility has numerous exhibits on prehistoric marine life.
