Coleus, native of Java, Indonesia, is a tropical plant which has all the leaf colors, red, orange, yellow and pink, and can be grown in the ground or in a pot making it a favorite among gardeners who want a lot of color without having to spend much. The plant creeps, stands tall, grows quickly with many mail-order nurseries supplying good assortments and wild-looking plants one can start planting immediately.
