Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Virginia is made of towering steel, shiny glass, pretty orchids and tropical floras. A number of plants in the garden, including a 30-year-old dwarf date palm and hybrid split-leaf philodendrons, were gifted by the U.S. Botanic Garden in Washington, D.C.
