Easy wildflowers
Article Abstract:
Helen Titus describes how she created a colorful wildflower garden in her shady, small backyard. She improved the soil by adding leaf compost and then added blue phlox, dwarf-eared coreopsis, Jacob's ladder, violets, hybrid columbine, wild columbine and ferns. Some of the flowers were purchased, but many were rescued from future home sites or were brought in with new soil.
