High country gardening
Article Abstract:
The area on top of North Carolina's Blue Ridge around Grandfather Mountain is known as the High Country, where homes are old and rustic and flower gardens abound. Among the favorite flowers are tuberous begonias, delphiniums and roses. Gardening is easy because of the fertile soil and plentiful rain.
