In heaven with Mr. Moore

Gardener Paul Moore has carpeted his hilltop property with colorful patches of phlox, Jacob's ladder, spring beauties and other wildflowers. The flowers thrive under trees which allow sunlight to fall over the the yard. Moore keeps the soil rich by allowing leaf litter to decay on the ground.

Oregon in Dallas

A family which originally hailed from Oregon commissioned landscape architect Naud Burnett to create a garden which reminiscent of their former home. Burnett crafted a garden which featured an un-Dallas-like combination of ferns, sedums, azaleas and mosses.
