Louisiana's hidden music

The Savoy Music Center in Eunice, Louisiana, draws music lovers from just up the road and all over America to hear the Cajun music in its purest form. French, the lyrical language of Cajun music is still spoken and Ann and Marc Savoy are the owners of the center who are known as the crusaders and have decided to document the lives and music of the French-speaking people.

The museum at the Southern states and District of Columbia, with more than 2700 works by artists from 15 Southern states is the most comprehensive collection of the Southern art in the world. Paintings, sculptures, crafts, and works by folk and self-taught artists from the 1890s to the present day are described.

One wacky museum

"U.C.M" is the only museum in Abita Springs, Louisiana, which is considered to be awfully funny. John Preble, the curator of this museum converted it from a gas station and has housed a variety of funny stuff.
