Man Made: Piecing out a new tradition in quilting
Article Abstract:
Male quilters relish the challenges, which can range from mathematics, the effects of different color relationships, the use of non-traditional materials and developing new methods to enter fields allied with quilting. The exhibit, 'Man Made' is expected to break the gender stereotype associated with quilt making where talented male artists are choosing fabric as their medium of choice and an increasing number of men are creating spectacular quilts deserving of recognition.
