Midwinter tableware
Article Abstract:
Midwinter pottery founded in 1910 by William Robinson Midwinter in Burslem in Staffordshire is well-known for having established a revolution in tableware during the 1950s. It was one of the largest potteries in England by the end of the 1930s, but under directions from the British government to help war effort, production other than utility ware ceased during the Second World War.
