Automated lighting control has become easily accessible and affordable with improvements in wireless and power-line technology. The Z-wave system works with a wireless remote control enabling the user to operate all the lights in a room from anywhere inside and around the house, set lights to go on or off at a specified time and adds safety to your home through 'burglar deterrent' mode that operates at random in your absence.
