The restoration work on the dormers and wood roof of a 118-year old house in Manchester that was undertaken as a part of the television project by the magazine 'This Old House's' team is described. While restoring the roof, efforts were taken to recreate the pieces of the house's past using improved materials and a combination of rubber, metal and wood.
