Replicating moldings

It is not always possible to find a replacement for a damaged section of molding, but almost any style molding can be replicated in a workshop. Techniques for reproducing molding by means of a table-mounted router, or by using a combination plane, are discussed.

Kid's footstool

A small oak footstool suitable for a child can be constructed. The stool requires only five pieces of wood. Sabre saw cuts are required on the arched legs and to make a cutout on the top.

Tie in on a rack
Article Abstract:
An easy-to-build tie rack can be built. The rack basically consists of four 3/8-inch dowels mounted between two maple side pieces. Danish oil can be used to finish the rack.
