John Mackovic is the new coach of the Longhorns of Austin, TX, for the 1992 season. Texas Christian University selected Pat Sullivan as Mackovic's counterpart. Arkansas State's Ray Perkins is expected to whip the ASU team into shape. Meanwhile, Steve Logan will replace East Carolina's Bill Lewis.
