Suzan Rezac, uses gold, silver, copper, brass and bronze and also composes the Japanese alloys shakudo and shibuichi to create elegant jewelry that most often is inspired by natural and archeological forms. Rezac's work is profoundly influenced by decoration and the history of the decorative arts.

An exhibition of Timothy Horn's jewelry art was held at the Hosfelt Gallery, San Francisco, CA from March 12 to April 23, 2005. It displayed extravagantly huge jewels consisting of gems and pearls, which seemed to reflect a desire for jewelry as a symbol of modern male domination.
