Article Abstract:
Oakhurst Links is America's first golf club on the Russell's rural mountain farm in 1884, made by Russell Montague and a handful of Scottish-born neighbors who built nine holes in the golf club. However the club disbanded by 1910, and Mr, Lewis Keller, Sr. bought the property and resurrected the original nine-hole layout making it a lovely 2,235-yard track with water hazards and bunkers.
