The celebrity Collector
Article Abstract:
Peter Marshall's career span in TV of 60 years has taken him all over the world and during his travels he acquired a preference for antique furnishings, which are used, in his French-style country home in California. Many of his acquisitions are from the auctions held at Christie's and Sotheby, and of special mention is 300 pieces of Patrician Wedgwood coming from China, a 16th century oak end table from England, an 11-ft tall window and sliding door from a church in New England, and an old Irish hutch.
