The desk clock

Step-by-step instructions are provided for making a desk clock from curly maple. Directions are included for chamfering the crown and base, cutting grooves and rabbets, and ripping thick stock into thinner pieces. Pieces of brass rod cut with a hacksaw are inserted into holes to mark the clock's numbers.
