Understanding your soil
Article Abstract:
A soil analysis can help gardeners become more effective in their efforts to improve the soil as well as in selecting the kinds of plants that will thrive in a particular garden. Soil tests analyze the complex physical, chemical, and biological traits of the soil and offer guidelines for adding soil amendments and adjusting cultural practices to gain optimum plant growth.
