The 26th annual IBIS Conference, which was held in Helsinki, Finland at the end of May 1996, was able to cover areas regarding the exploitation of Finland's geographic position and discussed new issues on countries including Russia, Poland and the Baltic States, which are rarely included in international conferences.

Third negative year for pension fund returns: UK
Article Abstract:
The performance of 1,527 funds representative of 3,672 portfolios, over the course of 2002, is measured in a survey. The UK pension fund performance for the year-end 2002 states that this is the first time that UK pension funds overall have suffered three consecutive years of negative performance.
