Action on hearing
Article Abstract:
The various methods of hearing surveillance at work place are discussed some of them being an audiometer, a mobile audiologist, and screening audiometers or 'hearing checkers'. The benefits of hearing surveillance include the identification and protection of employees who are susceptible to Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and the provision of a safety measure in checking that hearing protectors are used and are effective.
