Poland: Gender wage gap continues
Article Abstract:
A legislation to ensure equality in wages for men and women was introduced in Poland in 2002. A study conducted by the Polish national statistical office shows that women continue to earn less than their male counterparts. The provisions of the legislation and the results of the study are examined.
