Article Abstract:
Jirex Systems's SafetyNow! (for Windows) software package aims to help companies work through the requirements of the British Standard BS8800, Reporting Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences, 1995, Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1992 and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health 1994. It is aimed at all companies but may be more suitable for smaller and medium sized companies and enables companies to produce risk assessments of work areas, make incident reports and develop a Health and Safety Manual.

Croner's electronic Health and Safety at Work (for Windows)
Article Abstract:
Croner's electronic Health and Safety at Work (for Windows) is available in DOS or Windows 3.5-in disks. It requires around 6MB to load and run successfully, but is much easier to use than the paper version. It uses a very simple searching method, although searching could be improved by giving some indication of the priority of the 'hits.' The software allows the user to print entries, although it is necessary to specify paragraph numbers.
