Tomorrow's CyberUnions: a new path to renewal and growth
Article Abstract:
This article discusses how changes in information technology affects and challenges labor organization, through the building of new alliances, the modernization of communication, providing new tactics for organizing, and improved staff development. The author acknowledges concerns over the loss of person-to-person relations, control over the medium, generational conflicts, work overload and loss of confidentiality; however, the CyberUnion model should be given a fair trial by labor movements.
