Working mothers under most pressure
Article Abstract:
Ceridian Performance Partners and Management Today magazine report working mothers feel more pressure in the workplace. Over 1,850 managers were surveyed. Over one-third of all mothers but only 20% of all fathers feel uncomfortable requesting time off for family duties. Employers' complicity with new maternity leave laws is also discussed.

A report form the Institute of Chartered Accountants has revealed that the majority of human resource managers in the accounting services industry believe that having flexible work policies leads to greater job satisfaction among employees.
