Article Abstract:
Foundations that invest money in corporations should harmonize their social objectives with their investments. Foundations should work towards linking their investment and money making to their social cause. This is difficult because of differences between people who administer grants and the trustees. However, integration of purposes may be accomplished by talking to corporations and getting them to listen to the grant recipients or by filing shareholder resolutions.
